Open MRI v. Tube MRI
There's a very easy way to tell if you're in a truly Open MRI, if you can't see out both sides, you're in a tube MRI. Many facilities try to boast "Short Bores" or "Wide Bores" but they're still tubes — or tunnels. An Open MRI has no tunnel. You can see out both sides and even have the ability to stretch out your arms or hold your child's hand.
Our newest Open MRI, Oasis™, achieves superior high field image quality previously not available in any other Open MRI technology. Now, patients are not only more comfortable throughout their entire scan, the scans come out crystal clear, virtually eliminating the need for a second scan.
